Volunteers with the Society of St. Vincent de Paul are called Vincentians. We come from all walks of life, united by a belief that our blessings-time, talent, and treasure-are meant to be shared with neighbors in need.
Following the example of Vincent de Paul, we serve face-to-face with those experiencing hardship, offering help that restores dignity, hope, and stability.
Our work reflects the call of Scripture: “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me.” – Matthew 25:35

Here in St. Louis, more than 2,900 Vincentians across the St. Louis and surrounding counties provide practical support and compassionate connection to neighbors facing difficult moments.

We see the face of Christ in those we serve.
