Apostles of Charity
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is grateful to our many donors, volunteers, and supporters. Owing to his dedication to the poor, our patron saint St. Vincent de Paul is known as the “Apostle of Charity.” Sustained giving of more than $500 per year is acknowledged by membership in the Apostles of Charity. These donors are devoted partners in our mission and lead the way in helping the Society reach thousands of neighbors in need in our region.
Apostles of Charity enjoy special benefits, including:
- Enrollment in our book of prayer, where your intentions will be remembered during weekly Masses celebrated at the Council office's chapel
- Recognition in our annual report
- Invitations to special gatherings, luncheons and Masses.

These days there is a lot of poverty in the world, and that's a scandal when we have so many riches and resources to give to everyone. We all have to think about how we can become a little poorer.
