Helping Neighbors Starts at Home

Society of St. Vincent De Paul St. Louis

OUR MISSION

Inspired by Gospel values, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, a Catholic lay organization, leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to the needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul

Our Practice

We serve all in need. Volunteers make home visits to those in need to provide person-to-person services, including arranging utility and prescription drug assistance, providing food, thrift store vouchers and assisting with housing and transportation needs. More than 3,500 trained volunteers provided an estimated 302,000 hours of volunteer person-to-person and thrift store service in 2020.
