Helping Neighbors Starts at Home
Our Practice
We serve all in need. Volunteers make home visits to those in need to provide person-to-person services, including arranging utility and prescription drug assistance, providing food, thrift store vouchers and assisting with housing and transportation needs. More than 3,500 trained volunteers provided an estimated 302,000 hours of volunteer person-to-person and thrift store service in 2020.
Our Impact
In fiscal year 2020, the Society assisted over 264,000 people and provided $14.6 million in direct aid to those in need in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
