Join Our Team Who Seek and Serve All in Need
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a grassroots, volunteer-based, direct-aid organization that brings together men and women to grow in their spirituality through service for others. We have been serving the Greater St. Louis area since 1845. SVdP is part of a national organization and linked by the common mission of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul. Today, the Society is the world’s largest social assistance organization working in more than 150 countries.
The SVdP St. Louis Council is composed of over 115 parish-based volunteer groups called Conferences. The main Council operation serves as a resource and support system for these Conferences. Our largest outreach program requiring paid staff is the thrift store operation.
The SVdP thrift stores are a place of hope and help for many in St. Louis and a vital part of the mission. Our team of dedicated employees and volunteers are committed to bringing quality and charity to every customer encounter. We are always looking for new team members to join us in the mission to provide amazing service and bring hope to those who need it most.
