Helping Neighbors Starts at Home

Household Goods Donations

Thank you for choosing St. Vincent de Paul for your donation of new or gently used clothing, home goods, and furniture. We also accept vehicle donations. Our thrift stores are one of our largest fundraising programs, and we rely on your generosity.

Corporate Donors

The St. Vincent de Paul Society gratefully acknowledges donations from manufacturers, retailers, distributors, and other companies. Donate your excess inventory, unsold merchandise, or items with minor imperfections. By donating, you help St. Louis families in need, and practice green business by minimizing your landfill usage. Donations are also tax deductible. Call (314) 881-6006 to arrange a corporate donation. Call center hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon. Become a corporate partner today!

How to Donate

To donate goods to one of our thrift stores, visit the thrift store nearest you or schedule a donation pickup. (Please note: Our 1310 Papin Street office is not a donation center.)

Because the St. Vincent de Paul Society sells items to support our programs, we cannot accept donated items that we cannot sell. Please do not donate items that are ripped, stained, broken, missing parts, or otherwise unusable or in need of repair. All electronics and appliances should be less than 10 years old and in working order. A good rule of thumb is “Would I give this to a neighbor?” To determine the value of your donation, please refer to the IRS Donor’s Guide to Thrift Shop Donations.
