Schedule a Pickup
Thank you for choosing St. Vincent de Paul for your donation of new or gently used clothing, home goods, furniture, or vehicle. Your used goods are either given away to people in need or sold at an affordable price in our thrift stores. The proceeds from our stores help fund the programs and services we offer year-round to our neighbors in need.
If you can, please consider taking your donations to any of our thrift store locations. Donations are accepted at all eight locations during business hours. (And consider staying to shop, another way to help the Society.)
Pickups are only available for furniture, which can be accompanied by clothing and household goods (See the list of what we accept as a household goods donation). To schedule a furniture pickup, call (314) 881-6006 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Call center hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Pickup Location Requirements
- Driver may not walk up more than five steps. (No basement pickups).
- All items must fit through the doorway/entryway. (No disassembly.)
- Doorway must have driveway/sidewalk access. (No rolling over grass.)
In 2013, we sold 1.656 million items in our thrift stores. Proceeds fund our programs year-round for those in need. Your donation of items in good condition makes it possible.
